I am very conscious of how I spell things, especially when I'm blogging. Since English is not my native language, I try my best to ensure spelling and grammar is correct before posting anything. It makes me wince everytime I see those whose mother tongue is English but their spellings are all over the place. I mean, if I make the effort to improve myself, why can't they? I don't mean to sound like a patronising moron, but I seriously think that on the internet, since we can't see faces, people judge you from the way you communicate and if one is to make deliberate mistakes, ie. PURPOSELY writing in bad grammar and spellings, not to mention lacking all the necessary punctuations in order for the sentences to be read and interpreted correctly, I'm sorry to say I can't take you seriously.

Then there's also chatspeak. You people know what I'm talking about. TypNg lYk Dz bCuz i Thnk itz cOOl is not going to help anyone. Even when texting on phones (we all know about the character limits), I do not use chatspeak. Don't however, mistake it for Internet slang such as BRB, LOL, OMG, etc. I'm perfectly fine with that.

Come to think of it, I DO SOUND PATRONISING. Can't help it though, it's in my genes so I'll stay as a grammar Nazi, if you don't mind?

Anyway, enough of the rants. I'm here to let you guys know that I'm still preoccupied with my work; I still need to finish the ecommerce website for my client. To be honest, I feel this is going to be long-term project, especially if maintenance is going to be involved. But then again, that's just a guess. We'll see where this project will lead me to.

I also just had Kya to transfer Lunarisque.com to my main account. On the whole, I'm going to let that domain expire, as I don't have any purpose for it.

I've also renewed Nekonette for another two years. Yippeee! Which means I won't have to worry about renewing issue until 2013. Fug yeah, that's cool. Nekonette will remain as my main website/blog with Wordpress as its blogging platform. I mean, seriously, you CAN'T beat Wordpress. XD

It's amazing how a lot of people land on this website while searching for 'how to convert Tumblr theme to Wordpress' when I don't actually have any tutorials on that.

Good news, POP forums is back on! I'm s glad it is up and running again, I kinda miss posting things there and talking to awesome fellows.

ahh... have to agree... I envy those people who can speak English very well without having to struggle with the language and I hate those who misuse the language, especially using chatspeak. aishh.. kids these days.. wah..

even though I'm an English major, I found it hard to keep up with the language XD when the road is getting tougher, I always feel like giving up and regret myself for not changing to Arabic (which I really love back in high school) but somehow, in the middle of struggling, there's always the beauty of the language that will capture me to keep on learning English ^^

whoaaa... History teacher! that's cool!
looks like you're so busy with your work.. hwaiting! ^^

Wow, I love this domain of yours. :) So nerdy, isn't it?

I truly hate chatspeak, bad grammar and all that jazz. I make my random typos when posting my blogs, but while that hardly avoidable (even books, have you ever read a completely typo-less book?) proof-reading for grammar pitfalls should be a habit prior to posting.

Lunarisque.com is so cute, are you seriously getting rid of it? O.O

You are very inspiring for not having English be your native language, but you still make a big effort to be grammatically correct. I hate it when people have really dumb mistakes, such as writing "youre" instead of "your" ... that is SO 3rd grade! Come on, people, lol!

I agree, I love Wordpress :) It's funny how the results that bring people to your page are pretty irrelevant or strange sometimes. I like reading my stats from time to time to see what keywords people are using to find my site. There is some seriously WEIRD stuff sometimes LOL :P

Aww sorry that you can't visit the beach as often anymore :( Maybe the next time you go will be more special at least. Haha that is so true, boys will be boys. I seriously felt like cracking up when I heard the two men making sexual jokes too but I didn't want them to notice me hahaha.
